The Primate Look Is In This Summer

So I hear there's a new blockbuster opening in theaters this weekend about a hero from another world, sent to ours to serve as a shining example of the best mankind can strive to be while struggling to fit in and ultimately coming into conflict with a fellow non-human adversary from their shared homeworld. Sounds like a winner!

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Zod get blasted by the Rainbow of Harmony... although there's a slight chance that I'm confusing things.

I don't really have much to say about "Equestria Girls" that hasn't already been said. I just have to admit that, on rare occasions, I have the urge to draw people instead of ponies... and this very odd new IP from Hasbro at least gives me the excuse to draw a girl with a puppy and share it here. I hope you can all forgive me. In general, I actually kind of like the design of human Twilight, although she and her friends are by far cuter as ponies. The doll designs that I have seen are another thing entirely, of course. *shudder*

And yes, I did not make human Twi's skirt movie-accurate. I refuse to remove any of the stars from that design, considering what they all stand for.
