Tree Hugger

I admit, characters like Tree Hugger here are some of my favorite bits of world-building on the show.  No, not "stoned Hippies" per se, despite my love of Flax Seed.  I just mean relationships that the Mane characters have beyond the immediate cast.  It makes Fluttershy, and by extension Equestria itself, more real to me by simply having connections and a life beyond the role we usually see her living most of the time.  It also was a nice benchmark of the progress she has made as a character...  Season One Fluttershy likely could have never made a new friend without circumstances forcing the issue.

Tree Hugger herself had a fun design, and I enjoyed how her easy go-with-the-flow personality rankled on Discord.  My affection for her was cemented when I saw her modeling for Apple Bloom's Life Drawing class.  So many of my own college hours spent in those classes...  A nice dose of nostalgia for me.
